MMP Marine & Inspection complete the Blackfriars flume for Tideways.
MMP Marine & Inspection recently completed the high risk, high pressure project for Tideways at Blackfriars Bridge
Here at MMP Marine & Inspection, we are proud to have a longstanding relationship with Thames Water. We were therefore overjoyed to receive a special commendation for efficiency from the UK's largest water and wastewater services company in response to our recent project at Blackfriars Bridge Tideway.
The project involved the completion of the Blackfriars flume and a subsequent rescue drill for Thames Water and Blackfriars Bridge Tideway. We had to install over 10 tonnes of steel by hand in a safe and efficient manner

The MMP team completed the job 100% incident free.
Safety is something we hold in the highest regard, and we are happy to share that the entire job was done free from any incidents.
The team also completed the work ahead of schedule due to our previous experience at Victoria Flume. This means we were able to move the project forward with ease and clarity, much to the satisfaction of Thames Water who then commended us for our confined space rescue drill. They were particularly pleased with our safety procedures and efficiency; two crucial boxes that we always strive to tick.
