MMP Marine & Inspection is a marine inspection company working with water companies and water industry contractors across the UK. With over 75 years of combined experience in the water industry, our team has developed innovative survey techniques that minimise costly shutdowns and reduce the need for manned entry, so your assets stay in service while the work is done safely.
From sewage treatment works and service reservoirs to tunnels and underground chambers, we combine confined space operations, commercial diving and remote ROV surveys to deliver the right solution for each site.
As members of the Association of Diving Contractors (ADC), we work to the highest industry standards, in full compliance with HSE regulations and certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, so safety and quality come first on every project.
Our Marine Services
ROV Inspection and Pipeline Surveys
Our ROV inspection services survey pipelines and tunnels up to 2km from a single entry point, with no need for confined space entry. Fibre optic control keeps high-resolution video and imaging clear over long distances, giving you accurate, real-time information safely and efficiently.
Commercial Diving Services
We are an HSE-registered commercial diving contractor working in fresh and contaminated water. Our dive teams handle inspections and NDT, thermic lance cutting, welding, debris removal and valve installation or replacement, working to the high standards expected of members of the Association of Diving Contractors (ADC).
Confined Space Entry and Rescue
When entry into a confined space can’t be avoided, our experienced teams carry it out safely with fully compliant equipment, in line with HSE regulations. We always look for ways to avoid manned entry first, and our team is well versed in high-risk and rescue work.

Built for the Water Industry
Having worked across commercial and military diving, the founders of MMP Marine & Inspection saw the same challenges come up again and again in the water industry, from regulatory inspection requirements to high-cost shutdowns. Water companies needed safer, more efficient ways to maintain their critical infrastructure.
MMP Marine & Inspection was set up to meet that need: a trusted specialist offering practical, tailored marine services for the water sector, reducing operational costs and downtime while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
