A BIG YEAR FOR MMP MARINE & INSPECTION.

Last month, MMP Marine & Inspection celebrated our first birthday - a huge milestone with some even bigger achievements.

It’s been a difficult, uncertain few months for most industries. But, as lockdown starts to lift, we are happy to see normality slowly returning. That’s why we want to take a moment to celebrate the past 12 months for MMP Marine & Inspection - a year that has been far from straightforward.

In May, we celebrated our one year business anniversary; an exciting milestone that we were proud to accomplish.

Because our business is a labour of love. Our Founders launched MMP Marine & Inspection after a combined 25 years working across commercial and military diving, aeration land and digestor tank cleaning.  They could see the problems facing the water industry and they wanted to fix them. It was their passion: it still is.

And so MMP was born; the journey we have been on as a company in those 12 months has been a huge one with many exciting peaks.

 We dived… a lot!

Diving MMP

Diving is in our blood, and so any opportunity to get back in the water is a thumbs up in our books.

This year we took part in eight dives across three companies. We know we boast some of the best divers in the water industry.

We gained ISO 9001 accreditation.

We were proud to achieve our ISO 9001 certification - the most globally recognised quality management system.

Hitting the ISO 9001 standard is a sign that your business has the very best levels of consistency, efficiency and productivity. It audits your customer care, leadership and operations; the fact we ticked all the boxes means that our service is unrivalled.

We think that’s cause for a pretty big pat on the back!

We delivered high-risk, long term projects.

One of our most long standing clients is Barhale, the leading privately owned civil engineering and infrastructure authority. Earlier this year, we delivered a high risk, incredibly specialist project for their team.

We were brought in to install a steel flume within a confined space at Tideway London Embankment. Using our vast portfolio of equipment - including hydraulic tools, escape sets, gas monitors and confined space rescue equipment - we were able to complete the project under tidal conditions and high flow levels.

It was a job with a great deal of pressure attached, with a high risk and rescue reward.

We were the only water inspection company to provide 3D Lidar Scanning: a specialist and unmanned service.

Perhaps one of the most exciting services that we have enjoyed delivering is our 3D Lidar Scanning to our specialism: an innovative solution that allows us to enter high risk, underground environments with optimum safety and high levels of accuracy.

We are the only water inspection company that have the equipment and capabilities to offer this service. It’s a top of the market tool that allows our clients to gain a clear profile of their pipeline and any internal defects.

We cannot wait to see where the next year takes MMP Marine & Inspection. Thank you for joining us on our journey. If you want to find out more about how we work please drop a member of our friendly team a line.
